The first Nayeb restaurant was established in 1875 (1254 Persian Calendar) in Tehran, Iran. Those days Iran was experiencing political crisis which had made businesses face a stagnant economy. Haj Ali Nayeb courageously started the innovation which was not done until those days.
The restaurant which later became the symbol of Iranian restaurant industry was located in the heart of Tehran Bazaar beside the center of Jewelries. Every day people rushed to the restaurant from different parts of Tehran. Soon afterwards tourists from other cities found the restaurant an amazing place one could never avoid going to.
Gholam Hossein Nayeb, Haj Ali’s son can be considered as the founder of Nayeb brand. He named the restaurant Nayeb and by keeping its high quality continued to popularize it.
His sons, Ali and Iraj (founder of Nayeb Saei) started opening new branches of the restaurant and now the fourth and the fifth generations are managing different branches of Nayeb all around the world.
Today Nayeb is undoubtedly the most famous and credible classical restaurant among all Iranian people around the world, in whose minds it is associated with lots of prodigious memories.
